- In Puno, you can take boats and barges across Lake Titicaca and the surrounding area.

Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world (average altitude of 3812 meters above sea level) This lake is one of the most important natural destinations of the world. its deep waters of an intense blue; the mystery of its origin and ancestral surrounding islands attract thousands of visitors each year.

Lake Titicaca is the heart of the Altiplano, between the borders of Peru and Bolivia, is a place where time seems stop or pass very slowly, where the traveker c an appreciated traces the Tiwanaku,Pukara and Qollas cultures. This body of water is the “extreme” that every traveler seeks at come to Peru. A place that at first sight looks desolated, austere and sober; but in their holidays, it´s the most colorfull place with a lot of music and dance than all over Perú.
